First and foremost, the bean and cheese taco (on its fluffy flaky flour tortilla) made me actually gasp out loud, it was so gorgeous with simplistic decadent flavors & textures... I plan on returning here again and again just for this, a luxurious version of my favorite thing at Del Taco when I was a kid, which somehow basically everyone else always gets wrong, and I have been perturbed for years... The steak taco and the quesadilla were both very nice... Will definitely be returning, and wishing them posterity...

I would say this is a good 1 or 2am taco. Not a good 7 or 8pm taco. Carne asada was a bit chewy and the tortilla didn’t feel that fresh. They do have a good toppings / salsa bar. IMO the taco should come with guac, but it was worth it to pay $1.25 extra (it would have been too dry otherwise - the meat wasn’t flavourful on its own).

Tried them on their opening day! Solid 4.5/5 and the best freshly-made tortilla I’ve ever had.
The atmosphere and set-up is quite similar to Los Tacos No 1. The salsas and pickled onion are a great addition to the tacos. The bread is the clear winner here - amazing. The bean and cheese taco is fantastic.
On what it could get it to 5/5 for me - I found the tortilla to be the highlight of all tacos I tried. The carne asada is good but not mind-blowing (a bit more flavor/smokiness would elevate it) and the prices are ~30% higher than other places for a similar taco.
